Here are some suggestions. If you can implement all of them, then you probably don't need to do White Tantric anymore. If you can do half, then another couple of White Tantric Courses should be enough to allow you leave your body in Peace. If you can just do a few (seven or eight) the next White Tantric you do will be easier. But do something!
- A 40 day meditation is important. Pick one that challenges you but is not so difficult that you might fail at. Do it at the same time of day (approximately).
- Avoid alcohol, smoking, drugs (Duh!) This is false relief and only weakens the muscles (spiritual, physical and mental) we exercised during Tantric
- Be sure you know what you want to do in the next year or so. Don’t just dream about it – write it down, refer to it everyday, change it if need be and let it become part of your consciousness.
- Be sure your diet is a healthy one, from locally grown foods, pure water, moderation and remember Yogiji’s advice about food, “Chew your liquids and drink your solids.” At least 30 chews for each bite of food.
- Be with people who are of like mind and habit, they will support you and you them.
- Bless Creation every day and care for it consciously.
- Commit to a daily sadhana practice, be a fanatic but not obnoxious.
- Connect with teachers and healers; they can support your efforts.
- Do not make any “big” decisions in these 40 days, let the Tantric energy percolate through your entire system and give you the knowledge you need. It will come, on time and in abundance.
- Don’t waste time; it is too valuable. Avoid small talk and inconsequential conversations.
- Experience real silence, without the rattle and moan of media like TV, radio and idle conversations.
- Friends and loved ones are important. Be sure they know, understand and accept what you are doing for yourself.
- Get rid of material plane items you no longer use. “If you haven’t used something in a year, you probably don’t need it,” Yogananda. Clutter in your space equals clutter in your mind.
- Give money to and help others who need your service. It will expand your prosperity
- Keep a journal that will help you keep track of where you are going and where you have been.
- Keep living your living area clean and graceful, burn incense.
- Love yourself and all that you have gone through, are going through and will go through.
- Meditate, as a result of White Tantric you are vibrating at a very different level than before. Remain in that consciousness.
- Practice Kundalini Yoga, practice lots of it, teach others!
- Pray! Everyday, ask for daily guidance. It will come.
- Read spiritual texts. The words of spiritual people are uplifting and can keep your spirits up and inspired.
- Relax, deeply relax, in the bath or at the spa.
- Take a nap daily (or at least get to bed earlier, if you can.
- Take care of your physical body, get massages, acupressure, acupuncture, Etc.
- Things happen for a reason. Feelings of anxiety and fear represent our subconscious mind. It’s there, see it and deal with it in a neutral manner.
- Walk in nature.
I have been doing Kundalini Yoga via DVD from Gurmukh for over 12 months, and am now starting a proper Kundalini Yoga Course soon, what Meditation could I do for the 40 days ? Any suggestions ?

Kirtan Kriya is always good. But there is such a variety of meditations it is hard to choose. Look for one that challenges you and stretches you out a bit. I always prefer meditations with mantras as opposed to silent ones. They give you more to concentrate on and therefore are more productive. Good Luck!
